What is a soundscape? Here is a simple definition: Imagine you are a photographer and you are setting up a shot of a tree in the middle of no where. It took you all day to wait for the right light and the right moment, you take the shot. You are happy with the vibe and you move on. Now just switch the camera for a microphone. A soundscape is take a picture with sound. It can be as long or as short as one wishes.

Easy Wonder has over 25 years of practice in ethnographic research and sound production. We have a PhD in Ethnomusicology, a division of cultural anthropology specializing in the discovery of unique sonic signatures and in depth research techniques. Through many years of trial and error we have mastered an approach to recording interactions between nature and humans to reveal behavioral and cultural truths that help us define areas they originate in.

Easy Wonder’s skills in qualitative research and defining emotional intelligence are at the soul of their process. We conduct in-depth interviews along with observational evidence-based research. This allows us to spend time in distinctive environments to create compelling soundscapes that highlight a range of patterns and possible new habitat health discoveries. Along with personally recording, we will be leaning on other academically trained experts to engage and develop our soundscapes in distressed biomes.
